A Talk With Our Board Chair, Thomas Warren

Urban Development at 75 North

“To replace what was formerly a housing project … with something that is much more contemporary, much more livable, much more conducive to a healthy lifestyle – we’re just really thrilled with the possibility.” – Thomas Warren

Thomas Warren recently sat down with us for a chat about his support of 75 North and the mixed-income housing development that is to be built in North Omaha's Highlander neighborhood. Warren is a well-known and respected figure in our community. He was born and raised in North Omaha. And as President of The Urban League of Nebraska and Omaha’s former chief of police is very familiar with the needs of the community. We are proud to have him a passionate advocate and friend, and as the Board Chair of 75 North.

75 North exists for one purpose: to build healthy, sustainable, mixed-income communities within the Highlander neighborhood of North Omaha. We’ve been working to build a community within a community since 2011.
