Community-Based Business and Education at The Highlander

With a mix of institutional partners, local entrepreneurs, community development, event space, aquaponics, agriculture, and recreation, [the accelerator] will both breathe life into and be the realization of the life of the place. - Josh Shelton of El Dorado Architecture

75 North recently hosted an event with a group of Omaha young professionals and nonprofit leaders, to give them some information about the 75 North accelerator project – a community-based, business-building, education-focused side of the Highlander Development.

Josh Shelton came from El Dorado Architecture in Kansas City, MO, to share about this exciting part of the development. El Dorado is one of three architecture firms on the Highlander Development design team, along with Alley Poyner Macchietto (Omaha) and Landon Bone Baker Architects (Chicago). El Dorado is responsible for the accelerator portion of the project.

Check out Josh's blog (with lots of photos and renders!) about the Accelerator project.
