WeBop

WeBop® is an early childhood education program inviting families to stomp, strut and swing to the joyous rhythms of jazz as they learn about its core concepts, instruments and great performers. These 45-minute classes developed by Jazz at Lincoln Center in conjunction with Columbia University include child and adult participation, offering a creative outlet to explore jazz together through movement, songs, storytelling and play. Classes are taught by Omaha Performing Arts.

string sprouts

A free violin and viola class that aims to bring music education to pre-school-aged children. With roots in the Suzuki Method and in El Sistema, the String Sprouts curriculum features unique compositions to keep kids excited to learn and practice basic music drills — repetitive sound and motion designed to provide a foundation for further musical ability. Classes are taught by Omaha Conservatory of Music.

Every Thursday from Sept. 13 - May from 4:30 - 5:30 PM or 5:30 - 6:30 PM

musical theater dance class

Musical theater classes offer a complete and well-rounded instruction program that will teach all of the essential components they need in order to be successful in musical theater – singing, dancing and acting. Classes are taught by Omaha Community Playhouse.
