2026 Spring Cleanup at Highlander
Omaha’s Spring Cleanup Days are coming up, giving residents a free and easy way to get rid of bulky household items that don’t fit in your regular trash.
Highlander will be hosting a nearby cleanup site:
– Former Freedom Worship Center – 3025 Decatur St
– Saturday, May 2, 2026
– 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
This is a great chance to clear out items like furniture, mattresses, and other large household waste.
⚠️ A few quick notes:
– Tires are not accepted at spring cleanup
– Appliances, metals, and lead-acid batteries have designated drop-off locations (see site list)
– Hazardous materials should still go to UnderTheSink
